Meet Linda Wellenbach

Certified Hendricks Life Coach

I’ve been contributing in the fields of art, education and social services for over thirty years.

Originally a student in psychology and communication who loved the arts, I eventually blended the two, became an interior decorator.  Creating a home that reflects its owners is intimate work.  It naturally blends art and psychology - the truest interior design.  I began to notice how happy my clients were when their outsides matched their insides:  they felt excited, peaceful - healed, somehow.  I also noticed how fulfilling it was to be a part of that process!  Human transformation was thrilling!  It was a good marriage that birthed my obsession and fascination with the healing arts.

Decades later, I’m a seasoned mentor and facilitator who has successfully served many communities: at-risk teens, teen mothers, the bereaved, the elderly and dying.  I've earned certifications in interior design, mentoring, hospice and bereavement, and of course, life coaching. I am most proud to be a graduate of The Hendricks Institute's rigorous Leaders in Transformation program as I continue to study and contribute to the community.  A passionate explorer and creator, I love to interview, listen, write, read, and create customized tools that delight and inspire transformation, wholeness, peace.

My mudpie making days are [mostly] over, but the pattern and purpose remains. I see everyone as a life-sized puzzle.  The dark, textured pieces provide the sturdy framework for the bold solids and patterns to appear, the brilliant, neon bits to shine, and the soft pastels to pop.  Appreciating all, being open and willing to explore, create and connect the pieces that are present, is what makes for a fulfilling, empowered life.

That’s what I’m “about.”

A colleague once described me as "a grounded, ethereal presence that surprises and delights."  I swooned !  YES !  That's ME !

Personally ~

My New England soul traded snow and traffic for South Carolina’s sun and beaches.  A mother of two grown sons and grandmother to two of the most beautiful granddaughters ever created, I presently share life with my husband Stephen, and therapy dog, Oz.
